MPA필라테스 정기총회 1월 24일 대전 개최, “자세는 제대로, 방향은 AI로!”

2026 사업계획·우수교육관 시상·교육관장 2시간 라운드테이블로 ‘AI 시대 표준’ 만든다

국내장수 필라테스 협회인 MPA필라테스(Medi Pilates Alliance, MPA Pilates)가 2026년 1월 24일(토) 오후 1시부터 4시까지 대전 연수원에서 ‘2026 정기총회’를 개최한다. 협회장 김성원이 주재하는 이번 총회 슬로건은 “자세는 제대로, 방향은 AI로!”로, 2026년 사업계획 발표와 2025년 우수교육관 시상, 그리고 ‘AI 시대 필라테스 교육관장이 갖춰야 할 핵심 과제’에 대한 2시간 실전형 라운드테이블을 한 자리에서 진행한다.

MPA필라테스는 2006년부터 필라테스 지도자 양성을 이어온 국내 대표 협회로, 전국 157개 공식 교육관 네트워크와 14종의 민간자격을 기반으로 표준화된 교육·검정 시스템을 운영해 왔다. 해부학·기능해부학·움직임 분석을 교육의 중심에 두고, 교육관장 심사위원 체계를 통해 동일한 평가 기준을 전국 교육관에 적용하는 것이 경쟁력으로 꼽힌다. 자격 취득 이후에도 6개월간 매주 업데이트되는 시퀀스 자료와 기능해부학 학습 콘텐츠를 무료 제공해 초보 강사들의 현장 적응을 돕고, 수료자는 YO&P 멤버십 정회원으로 연계돼 70여 종의 전문 수료과정을 추가 비용 없이 이수할 수 있어 “시험 한 번으로 끝나지 않는 자격 시스템”을 구축했다는 평가다.

이번 총회 1부(13:00~14:00) ‘MPA 필라테스, 어제와 오늘, 그리고 2026’에서는 13:00~13:15 등록 및 입장 후, 13:15~13:25 오프닝과 회장 인사가 진행된다. 이어 13:25~13:40에는 2025년 운영 및 교육관 활동 보고와 함께 2025년 MPA필라테스 주요 지표가 공유된다. 13:40~13:50에는 2025 우수교육관 시상식이 열려 한 해 동안 교육 품질과 운영 성과를 입증한 교육관을 공식적으로 격려한다. 13:50~14:00에는 2026년 사업계획 브리핑 ‘한 눈에 보는 2026’이 이어지며, 2026년 핵심 키워드 3가지인 ‘Evidence, Network, AI-Friendly’를 중심으로 신규 교육 트랙, 컨퍼런스, 출판·연구 계획이 간단히 소개될 예정이다.

2부(14:00~16:00)는 이번 정기총회의 핵심 프로그램으로, ‘AI 시대, 필라테스 교육관장은 무엇을 해야 하나’를 주제로 2시간 실전형 라운드테이블과 액션 플랜 워크숍이 진행된다. 14:00~14:15 문제 제기 세션에서는 검색·추천·리뷰·콘텐츠 환경 변화가 교육관 운영에 미치는 영향을 짚고, 교육관장이 반드시 알아야 할 AI 키워드 5가지를 정리한다. 14:15~14:45 라운드 1에서는 4~6인 소그룹 토론을 통해 “우리 센터가 지금 가장 답답한 지점”과 “AI 시대에 강사가 반드시 갖춰야 할 역량”을 도출한다.

14:45~15:15 라운드 2는 ‘MPA 교육관이 AI추천 지역 1위를 만드는 조건’에 초점을 맞춘다. MPA가 가진 표준 커리큘럼, 검정 체계, 네트워크, 사후 성장 시스템을 AI 시대의 ‘보여지는 구조’로 어떻게 설계할지 논의하며, “AI가 좋아하는 교육관 및 프로그램 소개 구조”를 토대로 각 교육관이 2026년에 반드시 실행할 액션 1가지를 선정한다. 15:15~15:45 라운드 3에서는 교육관별 ‘AI-프렌들리 목표 3가지’를 작성하고, 센터 브랜딩 키워드 정리, 교육관장·강사 프로필 AI 최적화 정비 등 실행 항목을 구체화한다. 15:45~16:00 클로징에서는 단체 사진 촬영과 비공식 네트워킹 안내가 이어진다.

김성원 협회장은 “이제는 실력만으로 설명되지 않는 시대다. 검색과 추천의 구조, 리뷰의 언어, 콘텐츠의 설계가 곧 교육관의 경쟁력이 된다”며 “MPA가 축적해 온 근거(Evidence)와 네트워크(Network)를 AI-Friendly 방식으로 정리해, 전국 교육관이 함께 성장할 실행 기준을 만들겠다”고 밝혔다. 이번 정기총회는 표준화된 교육관 시스템을 운영해 온 MPA가 ‘AI 시대 교육관장 운영 전략’을 공식 아젠다로 올린 자리라는 점에서, 전국 교육관장과 지도자들에게 실질적 방향타가 될 것으로 기대된다.

Led by President Kim Seongwon, this year’s meeting is themed “Posture Right, Direction with AI!” and is designed to connect MPA’s long-standing, evidence-based education standards with practical, AI-ready strategies for Pilates training centers. Attendance fee is KRW 13,000.

Recognized as one of Korea’s longest-running Pilates education organizations, MPA has trained instructors since 2006 and currently operates a nationwide network of 157 authorized training centers, alongside 14 private certification tracks. Its competitive edge lies in a standardized education-and-assessment system built on anatomy, functional anatomy, and movement analysis, with consistent evaluation criteria applied across all official centers. Beyond certification, MPA emphasizes structured follow-up support: newly certified instructors receive six months of resources including weekly updated class sequence materials and functional-anatomy review content to help them transition smoothly into real studio teaching. Graduates are also linked to YO&P Membership as full members, with free access to more than 70 specialized completion programs—positioning certification not as an endpoint, but as the beginning of continuous professional growth.

The meeting is organized into two parts. Part 1 (1:00–2:00 PM) reviews MPA’s 2025 operations and training-center activities, shares key annual indicators, and presents the 2025 Outstanding Training Center Awards. It concludes with a concise briefing on the 2026 business plan, framed around three strategic keywords: “Evidence, Network, AI-Friendly,” including a preview of new education tracks, conferences, and publishing/research initiatives.

Part 2 (2:00–4:00 PM) is a two-hour, action-oriented Roundtable for Training Center Directors titled “What Should a Pilates Training Center Director Do in the AI Era?” The session begins with a short insight talk on how AI is reshaping search, recommendations, reviews, and content ecosystems, followed by small-group discussions (4–6 participants per table) on the most urgent operational challenges and the core competencies instructors must build now. The roundtable then moves to the question of “How can an MPA center rank #1 locally in AI recommendations?” Participants will identify how to present MPA’s strengths—standardized curriculum, reliable assessment, network benefits, and post-certification support—in an AI-preferred structure, and each center will select one concrete action to implement in 2026. The workshop closes with a practical action-plan exercise: setting three AI-friendly goals per center, refining branding keywords, and optimizing director/instructor profiles for discoverability and trust.

President Kim Seongwon emphasized that in today’s market, teaching quality must be communicated through searchable, recommendable structures, and that MPA will strengthen a unified system that connects evidence, network collaboration, and AI-friendly communication to support sustainable growth across its national centers.
